Powerwave Technologies, Inc. has been awarded with the 2009 4GWE LTE Visionary Award for its family of 4G antennas key components in powering next-generation wireless networks by Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC). The awards recognize innovative companies for their vision in advancing the future of mobile broadband through the development of innovative long term evolution (LTE) solutions.

Powerwave’s 700 MHz antenna family offers as much as one decibel in gain above competing offerings, and boasts superior upper side lobe suppression for reduced site-to-site interference – a critical requirement for 4G networks. Further differentiating Powerwave’s product line is the ability to provide consistent performance across frequency bands and down tilts via Powerwave’s patented Aperture Coupled Patch technology, ensuring steady performance over the entire band and the elimination of dead zones.
Additional options include fixed electrical tilt support, as well as integrated remote electrical tilt (iRET) functionality under one antenna radome.
