EM Research introduces the ZLX Series frequency synthesizer, which is a drop-in replacement for several of the industry"s standard PLOs and synthesizers. The ZLX can be custom-designed to operate fixed or programmable from less than 800 MHz to over 3.8 GHz, and is housed in a standard commercial surface-mount package, 0.6" x 0.6" x 0.14".

The ZLX offers extremely low phase noise, (<-106 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz, Fout = 3.1 GHz), and low power consumption, (<100mW @ +3.3VDC).
